Accessibility statement
Flow Technologies AS wants everyone to be able to use Flowzone, regardless of ability. We assess Flowzone against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.
This statement applies to:
- the Flowzone web application at web.flowzone.eu
- the Flowzone app for iOS
- the Flowzone app for Android
Compliance status
Flowzone is partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. The content listed below is not accessible or only partly accessible.
Content that is not accessible
Web application and apps
- Some grey hint text, placeholder text, warning messages and the borders of form fields and checkboxes have too little contrast (WCAG 1.4.3, 1.4.11).
- Some buttons that consist only of an icon have no name for screen readers, for example “Show password”, “Close”, the calendar navigation and some “Delete” buttons (WCAG 1.1.1, 4.1.2).
- Form error messages are not linked to the field they refer to, and screen readers do not announce them automatically. The same applies to other status messages, such as upload progress and the offline notice in the app (WCAG 1.3.1, 3.3.1, 4.1.3).
- Video and audio in the library, in education content and in chat have no captions, transcripts or audio description (WCAG 1.2.1, 1.2.2, 1.2.3, 1.2.5).
- PDF documents that Flowzone generates, such as questionnaire responses, notes and consents, are not tagged and can only partly be read with a screen reader.
Web application
- Some functions can only be used with a mouse: opening images and videos in chat, some items in workout plans, switching region on the sign-in page and profile cards that appear when you hover over a name (WCAG 2.1.1).
- Some lists, such as goals, workout programmes, assessment batteries and note templates, can only be reordered with a mouse by dragging. Reordering with the keyboard is possible (WCAG 2.5.7).
- Your session ends after a fixed time without warning. Unsaved changes may be lost (WCAG 2.2.1).
- Many form fields, including on the sign-in page, do not state their purpose for autofill (WCAG 1.3.5).
- The Flownote assistant uses number keys as shortcuts, and they cannot be turned off (WCAG 2.1.4).
- Some views, including the Flownote recording view, the PDF viewer and wide tables, require horizontal scrolling at high zoom levels (WCAG 1.4.10).
- Some pages, such as the chat overview, have no descriptive page title (WCAG 2.4.2).
- There is no link to skip the navigation (WCAG 2.4.1).
Apps for iOS and Android
- On phones, the app is locked to portrait orientation (WCAG 1.3.4).
- Some text, including the chat header, the search field, tabs and chart axes, does not follow the system text size or is cut off at large text sizes (WCAG 1.4.4).
- On the health data screens, screen readers partly read the content as a single button. Tabs are read out as a single letter, do not say which one is selected, and react as soon as you touch them (WCAG 1.3.1, 2.5.2, 4.1.2).
- In exercise videos, the pause button disappears after a few seconds. Pausing the video with a screen reader is difficult (WCAG 2.2.2).
- Form fields are not programmatically linked to their labels (WCAG 1.3.1, 3.3.2).
- Actions on chat messages need a long press and are not available as screen reader actions (WCAG 2.1.1).
- In the Android app, PDF documents are shown as images. You can open the document in another app with “Save or share”.
Third-party content
This content comes from third parties, and we cannot control its accessibility:
- video consultations, provided by the Whereby service. Whereby states that its user interface conforms to WCAG 2.1 AA. Live captions during the consultation are not turned on.
- signing in with BankID, provided by the Idura service (formerly Criipto)
- videos, documents and other files that clinics, clinicians or patients upload
